care instructions:

If you plan to use your board as a cutting/chopping board it is recommended that you cut on the back as this will preserve the look of the personalised side.

To take good care of your personalised board, we recommend that you don’t soak it for too long or put it in the dishwasher – handwash it only. We believe you should oil it regularly using vegetable oil as this will prevent your board from cracking.

All of our personalised boards are made from various types of wood & as such they are all individually unique and have their own markings and slight colour variations. The engraving process is a burning process and each type of wood burns differently, depending on the hardness and age of the wood. This means that each board will burn differently and have varying depth of colour of burn.
